VelvetDubai

Real humans making AI tools to help everyone

Serious software for the businesses nobody built it for.

The tools that make a company efficient were designed for companies with an IT department. Velvet builds the same capability for everyone else. For the firm of 4. For the firm of 40.

People at Velvet

Today

1

One human, in Dubai, building all of it.

This number is the real one. It goes up by one when someone starts, and it will say 10 when there are 10 of us and 1,000 when there are 1,000. Every one of them gets counted.

Why we exist

Small businesses get sold toys, or invoices. Rarely software.

Every serious tool a business could use has already been built, and then priced for a company with a procurement department. What reaches a smaller business instead is a free plan with the useful parts taken out.

How it usually goes

  • Per seat, per month, per product, so hiring someone is a bill
  • The one feature you actually need sits one tier up
  • Five subscriptions doing four jobs, none of them speaking to each other
  • A setup project you are expected to finish yourself, in the evening
  • Onboarding written for a company that employs someone whose job this is

How we do it

  • One subscription per business, not per person in it
  • Every product we make is in it, including the ones we have not made yet
  • Built to work together, because they come from the same place
  • We do the setup. You send us your price list
  • Made for the owner who is already doing four other jobs today

What we build

Three products. One of them is real today.

We would rather tell you exactly where each one stands than dress a roadmap up as a product line. Every card says what it is and whether you can actually have it.

WEFT

Live · pilot client

A chat box on your website that answers from your own price list, then sends you the customer on WhatsApp the moment they are ready to order.

  • Answers from your prices, packages, areas and lead times
  • Re-reads your website every six hours, so it is never out of date
  • Sends the enquiry to WhatsApp, or to your business email
  • One line of code on your site, set up by us

For businesses whose customers ask
about price, availability and timing.

LOOM

In development

The intelligence layer. It indexes your website and everything your customers asked for, then answers questions about your own demand.

  • Re-scan your site on demand, the second a price changes
  • Keywords, volumes, peak hours, and what changed since last month
  • What people asked for that you do not sell
  • Plugs into WEFT, or runs on its own

For companies with more enquiries
than any one person can read.

SILK

Idea

Mailbox migration that does not cost you your history. Outlook to Gmail, Gmail to Outlook, or off either, with folders, threads and attachments intact.

  • Either direction, and any IMAP or Exchange host
  • Folders become labels, and threads stay threaded
  • Whole teams as one job, resumable if interrupted
  • Nothing deleted at the source, ever

For any business changing provider
and dreading what it will cost them.

Why one company and not three

One thread pulls loose. A thousand, woven, will hold your weight.

WEFT carries the thread. One customer, one conversation, one pass across your business. LOOM weaves those threads into cloth: a pattern you can read, and something solid enough to decide on. One conversation tells you nothing about your market. A year of them will take the weight of a real decision, which is the whole argument for getting both from the same place.

WEFT

One thread

A visitor asks, gets a real answer from your own material, and their details reach your phone instead of a form.

LOOM

Cloth that holds

A thousand of those becomes a pattern: what was wanted most, what you could not supply, where demand is moving. Enough of them that it does not come apart when you lean on it.

Where we actually are

Early, and saying so on the homepage.

Velvet is new. One product is live with a pilot client, one is being built, one is written down. You should hear that here rather than find it out in a meeting.

Pricing is not published yet, because we have not earned the right to name a number. What is already settled is the shape: one subscription per business, everything included, and nothing kept behind a higher tier.

Being early is worth something to you. The businesses who start now decide what gets built next, and the product gets shaped around their actual work rather than a market we guessed at.

Tell us what takes up your week.

Not which software you want. What you keep doing by hand: answering the same question, chasing the same detail, retyping the same thing into a second place. That is where we start.
